Heinrich Müller led the Gestapo from 1939. Within the RSHA he headed Office IV, while Eichmann led section IV B 4 beneath him.
Müller helped direct political policing, deportation, and mass murder across German-held Europe. He disappeared in Berlin in May 1945, and his death or later whereabouts haven’t been decided.
